Mrs. S. Chabot

Shannon began her journey with Sturgeon Public Schools in 2009 at Landing Trail School. Since then, she has worked in the Division in various capacities across numerous communities. Her roles have included Classroom Teacher, School Counsellor, Learning Support Lead, Administrator and Coordinator of Student Services. Shannon states that each position has offered unique challenges and rewards, contributing to her growth as an educator and leader.

For the upcoming school year, Shannon shares “I am excited to return to the incredible community of Namao, where I will serve as Vice Principal. Namao School is a vibrant and dynamic environment, characterized by a dedicated staff and amazing students. The school's commitment to fostering a supportive and enriching educational experience makes it a truly special place. I am looking forward to rejoining this community that feels like “home” to me, and I am eager to contribute to the continued success and well-being of our students and staff.”
